Rebecca Smith
Senior Director of Development
The advancement office welcomed Rebecca Smith as the associate director of development in 2023, and she was promoted to senior director of development in 2025. Rebecca loves ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox University and genuinely enjoys connecting donors, alumni and friends to the powerful ways ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox students are learning, growing, and making a real difference across the Pacific Northwest.
With 13 years of fundraising and stewardship experience, Rebecca is at her best when she’s building relationships, sharing stories, and helping people see the impact of their generosity in action. Prior to joining ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox, she worked with Engineering Ministries International, where she partnered with supporters around meaningful work and long-term vision. At ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox, she brings that same energy and heart to helping donors invest in students and programs they care deeply about.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and public relations from Harding University. She lives in Tigard with her husband, Trevis Smith, a 1996 ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox alumnus, and together they have raised four amazing children: Claire, Jorden, Avery and Micah. Their family is active at Hinson Baptist Church. She is also a ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox parent and has two children thriving at the university.
When she’s not connecting people to ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox, Rebecca tries to be outside as much as possible. She loves spending time with her family, playing golf, skiing and pretending she is an artist!
